Instructions
  1. Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl (Wheat Flour, Ragi Flour, Baking soda, salt, Chocolate Powder)
  2. Sift it and keep aside
  3. Then to this mix add Butter Cubes and Jaggery and mix properly with your hands.
  4. Mix the jaggery and butter evenly with no lumps in such a way that the whole mixture has sand gravel texture.
  5. At this point add Vanilla essence and Milk and form a dough. Dough should be soft but not sticky.
  6. Wrap this dough in a silver foil and refrigerate for 30 mins.
  7. Preheat oven for 180 degree centigrade for 15 mins.
  8. Line the baking tray with silver foil. Take out dough from the refrigerator and make small bolls and press them to form round cookies or roll the dough bolls using rolling pin and cut with a cookie cutter. Sprinkle cookies with Multi color bolls for garnishing.
  9. Bake in a preheated over for 25 mins. Take out and keep them on wire rack for cooling
  10. Once cooled serve with a tall glass of milk . They also go well with tea/coffee.
Recipe Notes

Once cooled store in a clean, air tight container, away from direct sunlight in a cool place.

These cookies remain good for 6-7 days outside refrigerator.

We have used unsalted butter. If you are using salted butter, avoid putting salt in the preparation.
